Description

With only 9 barrels produced, this wine is only made when the vineyard conditions are just right. The assemblage consists of equal amounts of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot (three 225 litre oak barrels of each varietal).


This full-bodied Grand Red has an elegant side, along with firm but not aggressive tannins, great structure, and moderate acidity. Look for wonderful mid-palate flavours of currant, blackberry, cherry, spice, and oak. Black tea, ripe dark fruits, sweet spice, and oak notes linger through on the extra-dry finish.
